Bodywork is where corners get cut, and where cut corners show. A rushed blend, a mismatched colour or filler where metalwork was needed will look fine for a month and terrible for years. We do it the proper way: assess the damage honestly, repair the panel rather than hide it, prime, colour match against your exact factory paint code, then base coat and lacquer in the booth before cutting and polishing to a factory finish.
A lot of jobs are smaller than people fear. A scuffed bumper corner, a car park dent or a keyed door can often be handled as a smart repair, where we work on just the damaged area instead of repainting whole panels. That keeps the cost and the turnaround down. When a job does need a full panel or a complete respray, we say so, and we quote it straight before any work starts.
The workshop is at Woodstone Industrial Estate in Fencehouses, right on the border of Tyne and Wear and County Durham, a few minutes from Houghton-le-Spring, Chester-le-Street and Washington. Between Jac and his dad, Christopher, there is over 45 years of trade experience in the booth, and if you cannot get the car to us, we can collect it and bring it back finished.

How much does a bodywork repair cost?
It depends on the damage, which is why we quote from photos before you commit. Send us a couple of pictures of the damage and we will give you a quick, honest price with no obligation. Small smart repairs cost a lot less than people expect.
Can you match my exact paint colour?
Yes. We mix against your vehicle’s factory paint code and blend the repair into the surrounding panels, so the new paint matches the rest of the car rather than standing out.
How long will my car be off the road?
Most smart repairs are done within a day or two. Larger panel work and resprays take longer, and we will give you an honest timescale when we quote, then stick to it.
Do you handle insurance work?
Talk to us before you commit to your insurer’s repairer. You have the right to choose who repairs your vehicle, and we are happy to quote for insurance jobs.
Can you collect my car?
Yes, collection and delivery is available across Tyne and Wear and County Durham. Handy if the car is driveable but you are stuck for time.
