About Paramount

Paramount Paint & Recovery Services is a family-run bodyshop at Woodstone Industrial Estate in Fence Houses, on the border of Tyne & Wear and County Durham. It's run by Jac, working alongside his dad, Christopher, and between the two of them there's over 45 years of trade experience in paint and bodywork.

That family setup matters. Skills here weren't picked up from a weekend course, they were passed down over years in the booth, and the standard is enforced the way only a parent watching over your shoulder can enforce it. Every car that leaves the workshop carries the family's name on it, which is exactly why corners don't get cut.

The work covers vehicle body repair, resprays, smart repairs, alloy wheel refurbishment including diamond cutting, van and fleet paintwork, and custom spraying of anything you can bring to the booth, from motorcycle tanks to kitchen doors. Alongside the paint side, the recovery line runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we buy cars too, from scrap up to around £5,000.
